The Digital Suite project at Preston College represents a key step in the institution’s drive to modernise its facilities and promote innovative learning practices.
This £185k electrical installation was a cornerstone of the college’s broader strategy to provide state-of-the-art educational environments. The suite was designed to integrate seamlessly with the existing campus while reflecting the college’s forward-thinking ethos.
It serves as a showcase of modern educational infrastructure, designed to inspire and support students and staff through advanced systems that prioritise functionality, aesthetics, and compliance with safety standards.
Implementation
The scope included a sophisticated lighting system that blended practicality with artistic design, enhancing the space’s atmosphere. Safety requirements were met with the installation of a comprehensive fire alarm system and a disabled alarm system. Additionally, door access controls and a security alarm system ensured the suite’s safety and operational security.
