Clitheroe Grammar
The £185k project at Clitheroe Grammar’s Sixth Form College involved delivering a fully customised electrical installation for their new Performing Arts Suite.
The project was tailored to meet the specific needs of an educational environment, enhancing the functionality of the space while adhering to strict industry standards.
As part of a traditional contract, Cronshaw Electrical’s role was crucial in supporting the schools vision to provide a modern facility that caters to both academic and extracurricular activities.
The focus was on creating a reliable infrastructure that aligns with the schools goals for a safe, efficient, and visually appealing learning environment.

Implementation
The scope included the installation of main distribution and cable containment for reliable power delivery, comprehensive indoor and outdoor lighting, and mechanical service wiring.
Additionally, safety and security systems such as fire alarms, disabled alarms, class change systems, and CCTV were installed, alongside door access controls and data wiring.
Lightning protection was also incorporated to enhance building safety. All systems were rigorously tested, commissioned, and handed over with detailed operation and maintenance manuals.
